Coaches will drop off and pick up from Five Ways Community Park. Indoor space for lunch will be available at St Martin’s Church in the Bull Ring, from 1pm – 2pm, and afternoon activities will leave from there!

Spend the day at the UK’s biggest model railway exhibition, featuring over 120 stalls, over 65 layouts and a free ride-on train! Please note that participants will be required to book their own transport from Birmingham city centre to the National Exhibition Centre, committee will provide recommended times. You may also travel independently from site. This activity is fully accessible.

Explore almost 30 acres of reconstructed historic shops, houses, factories and canals, all brought to life by historic characters ready to tell you about life in the Black Country during industrialisation! The museum is mostly accessible but some areas are on an incline or have uneven surfaces. Step back into Tudor times on a day trip to nearby Stratford-Upon-Avon, where the day will be yours to explore to town. Visit Shakespeare's birthplace and grave, learn about theatre history at the RSC's free exhibition The Play's the Thing, or stroll along the picturesque River Avon. Please note that this option only includes transport to and from Stratford, and activities should be booked by participants independently. Go on a tour of the historic Newman Brothers coffin furniture factory, one of the unusual businesses in the ‘City of 1000 Trades.’ The Coffin Works is wheelchair accessible, located approximately 25 minutes walk from the coach drop-off, and 20 minutes from the lunch location. “Experience 200 years of working people's lives in the heart of Birmingham.” Visit Birmingham’s last surviving back-to-back houses, built around a communal courtyard, which were occupied until 1967. This event is located approximately 20 minutes walk from the coach drop-off, and 7 minutes from the lunch location. The Back to Backs are partially wheelchair accessible: step-free access is available for ground floors of the houses, however tours feature multiple winding, narrow staircases, some of which are steep, and the first floor has no step-free access. Did you know that Cadbury was founded in Birmingham? Visit Cadbury World to discover the history and process of making chocolate, and maybe try making some yourself! Please note that participants will be required to book their own transport from Birmingham city centre to Cadbury World on recommended trains. Transport will be provided from Cadbury World back to the site after the visit. Cadbury World is fully accessible, but please note that there is only capacity for one wheelchair user per tour.
